Embodied Flow
When times are tough and people are hurting, taking a breath and seeing embodied flow can bring momentary joy and peace. In the video below the sculptures suspended in space dance with the wind and move effortlessly in response to whatever is happening in the moment.
These fluid net sculptures by Janet Echelman and her studio capture the flowing beauty of anchored nets that weigh a great deal yet move 180 feet in the air between buildings in the middle of busy Oxford Circus, London. You can see more on her website and learn how these sculptures are created at http://www.echelman.com/.
